Instant RSS Feeds and Links for RSS2Blog users

I’ve had a version of this spreadsheet in my toolkit for a month or two now, but I polished it up a bit and decided to release it “into the wild” so that others might benefit from it. No real documentation with it, but it should be fairly obvious to anyone comfortable with the basics of Excel.

Paste your keywords in cel A1 as a list, and they will populate A1 to Axxx. The output you want to copy & paste into RSS2Blog will appear in column F.

There are two sheets in this workbook. One takes a (potentially quite long, it’s ready for up to 10,000 keywords now and can easily be extended to handle more) list of keywords and turns them into properly formatted links to your keyword-based pages in RSS2Blog. You will need to edit the path in cels B1 and D1 to reflect how you want the links to work for you. Just look at what’s in Column F to make sure they’re right, then copy column F and paste it into RSS2Blog.

The other sheet will create Google blog-search based RSS Feeds for you based on your keywords, however I WOULD NOT SUGGEST putting in lots of keywords here, as RSS2Blog will get unbearably slow. Put in maybe your top 10 or so. The key thing is you will get keyword-rich content on your overall blog topic, and because it’s an RSS Feed, your keywords will even be bolded already for some extra SEO points. If you want to change the feed source you may edit cels B1 and D1, but you should be sure you understand how you are manipulating the URL of the feed.

The sheets are protected to prevent accidental messing up of things on a large scale, but there is no password so you can easily select Tools -> Protection -> Unprotect if you wish.

I don’t expect anyone will have trouble using this but if for some reason you do, post a comment here and I’ll try to help out. Enjoy!

Hey Rick, glad you find it useful. Thanks for the kind words! I haven’t been on the KA forum much lately, I jumped on the NicheCreator deal and have been spending much of my time over there… that and building sites of course! 🙂

Thanks again for stopping by, hope to see you around again!

  • I bought NicheCreator too. It’s a wonderful product, probably the best money I’ve spent in my short Internet marketing career so far. I’ve been reevaluating how I build sites so I’m going to take a couple days to think about what I’m going to do.

Thanks again for your wonderful site!

Yes, I did the same… spent about a week getting into the guts of NC to figure out how it worked, and never even bothered with any of the built in templates. Now that I’ve got the technical stuff dialed in for the most part, I can put up several sites per hour if I really get into a groove. Really good program, I’m very happy with it as well. Of course, I still need to make it pay for itself, but hey… 😉

Glad you like the site, see ya ’round!
